Tofta beach
Tofta beach is just 20 minutes south of Visby. It's a sandy stretch about 3km long, going from Gnisvärd in the north all the way to Surflogiet in the south. This spot is definitely one of Gotland's most beautiful beaches, and probably the most well-known. If you're a fan of bright sand and clear blue water, you'll absolutely love it here!
Surflogiet
If you're heading to the beach, we definitely recommend checking out Surflogiet too! It's a super cozy spot right by the sea, with a restaurant and even glamping tents for hotel stays. It's so lovely, it's worth a visit just for itself! They're open all summer, letting you soak up the sun from morning till night with a refreshing drink or one of their amazing burgers. You'll also find Tofta beach house at the southern end of Tofta beach. It's a modern restaurant that serves up food and drinks practically right by the water! You can grab a glass of rosé or champagne and chill on the sunbeds on their terrace, which starts right on the sand.
