Here, you'll use your phone to unlock your doors.

Here's how to get started and how to share access with others in your group.

FOUR STEPS TO ACTIVATE YOUR KEY

It only takes about 1 minute to activate your key, and you'll do it in four easy steps.

  1. DOWNLOAD THE APP
  2. LOG IN TO STAY MANAGER
  3. CONFIRM PHONE NUMBER AND SEND!
  4. RECEIVE SMS & FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS

Download the app

Go to your app store and search for the following app: 

ILOQ S50

Make sure to install it on your phone before you send the key to yourself.
Also, ask your travel buddies to do the same!

Log in to Staymanager

Follow the link in the email we sent you. Or use the QR code in your villa.
You'll need to enter your booking number and phone number to log in.

Add your travel companions and send them keys

Make sure everyone who needs a key is on the list, and add anyone who's missing. Then, select who should get keys and send them out. You might need to update phone numbers to an international format.

It's a good idea to check that your travel companions have downloaded the app before you send them the keys.

Activate your phone as a key

Everyone added to your booking will receive an SMS. Before you click the link, it's a good idea to make sure the app is already installed on your phone. 

Just follow the instructions – there are only two steps to activate your phone.

USE YOUR PHONE TO ENTER OR LOCK

Now you're ready to open the door. The key is already in the lock; all you need to do is activate it so you can turn it. Then, you just open it by turning the key, just like you would at home.

Activate with iPhone

  • Unlock your phone and start the app.
  • Rest the top of your phone against the round black antenna/key.
  • Once your phone finds the key, tap "unlock" and wait a couple of seconds until the screen turns green.
  • Take your phone away and then turn the black key.
(it's the same antenna as when you pay with your phone)

Activate with Android

  • Unlock your phone.
  • Hold your phone so the back touches the key – that's the black round antenna on the lock. 
  • When your phone finds the key, just wait a few seconds until the screen turns green.
  • Take your phone away and then turn the black antenna, which now works like a key.

Your phone's antenna is usually in the middle, but if you're having trouble connecting, it might be somewhere else. Try starting with the bottom of your phone against the antenna and slowly move it around until the app shows it's connected. 

Having trouble?

If you're having trouble using the key on the door, please give it another try. The most common issue we see is that it's tricky to know exactly where the antenna is on your phone, and the connection can be a bit sensitive. But once you figure out how to hold your phone, it's super easy!

Here are a few tips that might make things easier too.

  • If it feels like the app is almost working but the key isn't activating, just try again. You'll be able to unlock it once the screen turns green.
  • You should never have to wait more than 10 seconds for the key to activate.
  • If you need to try again, move your phone about 30cm away from the lock before giving it another go. This resets everything so you can start fresh.
