Activities are a natural part of any meeting or conference here at Vidhave. We love creating experiences that really strengthen your group, boost energy, and let you fully enjoy our amazing location – the sea, nature, and all the beautiful surroundings.
Our activities can be booked on their own, or you can combine them with accommodation, meeting rooms, and meals to create more complete days or conferences

Home Cooking Experience
Group cooking in one or more wooden villas
Our 'At Home' activity is a fun group cooking experience that's perfect for both smaller and larger groups. It makes the most of the spacious and well-equipped kitchens in our wooden villas and is led by Vidhave's very own chefs.
Participants work together in smaller groups, focusing on teamwork, pace, and achieving a great result together. If you're a smaller group, you'll enjoy your meal right in the villa or out on the veranda. For bigger groups, everyone gathers at Utsikten, where the dishes are laid out as a shared buffet – all cooked by the participants themselves and served with amazing views of the Baltic Sea.
Suitable Venues: Our Grand Villa and Bungalows For larger groups, the activity is complemented by Utsikten as a common gathering place.
'At Home' is often combined with our 'Transfer Hunt' and 'Market Square' activities, creating a seamless experience that kicks off right when you arrive on Gotland and wraps up as the day winds down. Together, these elements form a complete package, covering everything from travel and orientation to cooking, dining, and good times together.
The Transfer Hunt
On the way to Vidhave
The Transfer Hunt is a fun mix of orienteering, teamwork, and a bit of competition. The name might be a little misleading, but the goal is simple: to turn your journey into an adventure. The activity finishes when your group arrives at Vidhave. So, it's basically a transfer, but way more fun!
Participants are split into smaller groups or teams and complete the activity on foot or by bike. Each team gets an initial clue that points them in the right direction and to their next goal. The clues might be specific to a location, rooted in history, or require some clever thinking and sometimes a bit of technical skill. At each station, a new clue awaits, guiding the team further through the landscape, step by step towards the finish line.
The Transfer Hunt serves both as an icebreaker and an active way to discover Gotland, often in conjunction with our luggage handling service, as it begins immediately upon arrival on Gotland. The Transfer Hunt is often the starting point for a longer experience, combined with several other activities we offer.
Nature Walk
Enjoy nature's beautiful calm
Nature walks are a simple and popular activity that makes the most of Vidhave's closeness to the beach, sea, and nature reserves. This setup is especially good for groups who want space for chats, reflection, and movement – without feeling pressured or having to perform.
You can do the walks completely on your own, and we're happy to suggest routes. Or, you can enhance them with things like coffee breaks, meals, simple games, or tasks along the way. This makes the activity flexible and cost-effective, while also being easy to adjust to your group's time, energy, and your conference goals.
Warm & Cold Baths
With our sauna, hot tubs, and being so close to the sandy beach and sea, warm and cold baths become a natural and relaxing spot during your conference. This activity is perfect for both small and large groups and can be tailored to fit your goals, pace, and schedule.
There are so many possibilities, and we're happy to tailor our offerings to perfectly match your group's size and what you hope to achieve during your stay.

Feel free to ask us for ideas to make your experience even better, perhaps with things like breathing exercises before cold dips, yoga, or other holistic activities that really enhance the experience and give you space to relax and focus.
Orientation seminar
Orientation seminars combine exercise, nature, and content in a flexible outdoor meeting format. The activity takes advantage of Vidhave's large area and creates variety in both pace and environment, while maintaining the structure of the meeting.
We create several smaller meeting places around the area. Each location is prepared to function as a conference room – but outdoors. If necessary, the stations are weatherproofed with our stretch tents, which makes the activity possible regardless of the conditions.
Your participants move between the meeting places according to a clear plan, or the stations are used as breakout environments where smaller groups work in parallel. The plan can also be varied by having certain stations contain brain teasers, simple competitions, or joint coffee breaks that everyone passes through.
The orientation seminar is especially great for groups who want to combine focus and structure with movement, fresh air, and changing environments.
Beach & pool party
Beach & Pool Party is a summer favorite among both conference guests and groups who want to celebrate together on Gotland. This activity takes place right by our sandy beach and pool area, where the sea, sun, and music create a spontaneous and social atmosphere in the midst of nature.
Our pool area serves as a party area and also includes a sauna, hot tubs, and changing rooms.
We are happy to set up a buffet and bar, and for those who wish, we can provide a DJ or live music to create the right atmosphere for the day or evening.
The activity is flexible and can be adapted to the group's needs – from relaxed hanging out with a drink in hand to a lively party with music, dancing, and mingling. It is a popular activity for summer parties, staff days, sports teams, conference closings, and other occasions where a natural, lively, and social space makes the experience memorable.
Can be booked as a standalone activity or as part of a larger package – for example, a conference, kickoff, or summer party with accommodation and food included.
Some suggestions for expanding the activity:
- Meals in the restaurant right on the beach or by the pool, with locally sourced flavors and summer drinks.
- Barbecue evenings and buffets that extend the evening in the company of good friends.
- Other activities in the area, such as beach games and beach activities.
Beach activities
On the beach, we gather available games and activities for your group. The activities take place on and around the beach and are equally suited to spontaneous exercise and fun and exciting competitions.
The offering includes classic beach games such as kubb, boules, and beach volleyball, as well as more water-based activities such as SUP and kayaking. The setup is flexible and can be adapted to the size, ambition, and time available to the group.
In its simplest form, the equipment is available to the group, and our guide introduces the activities and provides support regarding use and safety. For groups that want to take it a step further, we can also organize competitions, team divisions, and challenges that make use of both the beach and the existing infrastructure.
Beach activities are often used during conference breaks, as an active interlude between meetings, or in combination with meals, swimming, or party activities in the area.
